It begins!

“It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.”

Today was the first day of the 2014 Institute for Research Design in Librarianship, which provides both a two-week residential research methods bootcamp for academic librarians and an ongoing online learning community in which we will support each other’s individual research study. I’m experimenting with documenting this research experience via blogging as a exercise in thinking aloud. More to come in the next two weeks and the coming year!
